We were privileged to work with FOLO farm to build our 5 Senses Edible Garden at Stellar Preschool, helping us educate our children about healthy and natural food while helping them connect food, nature, and heath together. Children need to be exposed to hands-on experiences in order to learn through their 5 senses and the Edible Garden has created the perfect environment that provides multiple experiences for seeing, smelling, hearing, touching, and tasting. As a result of utilizing the Edible Garden as an extended classroom, children were able to participate in a wide range of sensory experiences from education to relaxation.
